Ephesians 5:11-14

¹¹ And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather ^[a]expose them. ¹² For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. ¹³ But all things that are ^[b]exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. ¹⁴ Therefore He says:

“Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”

¹⁷ For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.

Ephesians 5:11-16

The Message

^11-16 Don’t waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It’s a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive they look in the light of Christ.

Wake up from your sleep,
Climb out of your coffins;
Christ will show you the light!

So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times!

The Message

Misers of What You Hear

^16-18 “No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a washtub or shoves it under the bed. No, you set it up on a lamp stand so those who enter the room can see their way. We’re not keeping secrets; we’re telling them. We’re not hiding things; we’re bringing everything out into the open. So be careful that you don’t become misers of what you hear. Generosity begets generosity. Stinginess impoverishes.”

6am Father, let hidden works of darkness in communication systems be exposed by Your light.

9am I decree that nothing concealed to manipulate the masses shall remain hidden forever.

12pm Every secret alliance producing disinformation, incitement, and corruption, be uncovered.

3pm Lord, awaken whistleblowers, truth-tellers, and reformers with courage and protection.

6pm Let what has been crafted in darkness to confuse, control, and corrupt be dragged into open judgment.

9pm I reject fear of men and pray for holy clarity in the face of complex deception.

12am Let media systems be shaken until truth can breathe and righteousness can be heard.

3am O God, arise as the revealer of secrets and expose every hidden work that resists Your kingdom.
